We are recruiting for a Commis Chef to work with our small and friendly team at our Ecclesall Road restaurant.

Who are we?

Family run, Turnip & Thyme serves British favourites and comfort food classics, perfect for enjoying with family and friends; with an emphasis on using seasonal ingredients locally sourced and served in a cosy and relaxed setting.

What you’ll be doing

• Producing freshly made food in volume, made at the highest standards.

• Maintaining our high standards of quality and hygiene.

• Taking responsibility for the duties and tasks assigned to the role, ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner

• stock control, deliveries

• Cleaning front of house and back of house areas.

What we’re looking for:

• A strong passion for good food.
• Have at least 2 years experience in a similar role.
  
• Enthusiastic about delivering great customer experiences through good food.

• Adheres to all statutory requirements including food safety hygiene.

• Ideally, hold a full UK driving license.
