We opened at 740 Ecclesall Road in September 2019 and have been serving Sheffield from the same small bistro ever since.
Our story
A bistro run by brother and sister
Turnip & Thyme was started in September 2019 by brother and sister Robert and Louise, bringing together their shared love of good food and hospitality. Together they run the bistro with a small, friendly team.
The food is rooted in British favourites and comfort-food classics, with seasonal ingredients, local suppliers and just enough international influence to keep the menu moving.
